Tell me a little about your background?
I recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in Biology and minor in Psychology. I have worked in many customer service jobs for about 7 years.
Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?
Medical Sales gives me the opportunity to combine 2 of my passions- people and medicine. This job will allow me to change lives and enjoy doing so.

About 3 months.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I learned about MSC on LinkedIn by researching different people that were in Medical Sales and all had MSC in common.
What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?
I tried applying to many jobs beforehand and could hardly even get phone interviews. I knew I needed to do something to make me a more valuable candidate.
Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.
My training was great. It was long days, but it honestly didn’t even feel like it. I got a good understanding of every aspect of the industry and had some really great professors.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Being able to analyze products and their competitors is what ultimately landed me my job. That, and being persistent during the job-hunting process.
Please briefly explain your job interview process.
I was interviewing with 2 companies. My interview process with Arthrex was meeting with my current manager, then meeting with the VP of sales, then doing a ride-along with a territory manager.
Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?
Medical Sales College honestly gives you more than you could ever imagine. I am a much more competitive candidate now, and I understand why I couldn’t even get an interview without it. Medical device sales is very competitive, MSC helps you stand out and be able to confidently speak about the job.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I had completed an internship or something with a device company or just in sales to gain a little more experience from the very beginning. I would advise anyone to try and do that.
