Tell me a little about your background?
Graduate from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science and medical work experience in Physical Therapy and Cardiology field.
Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?
I have always had a passion for orthopedics. Over the years, I really have developed a love for medical sales and how a medical device can impact a patients health in a positive way with state of the art technology.
How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Colleague from Georgia State University successfully landed a sales representative position and research online.
What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?
Having family/friends in Sarasota, FL made me decide this would be great opportunity.
Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.
Very rigorous education material, hands on with saw bone labs, and ultimately I developed a vast understanding of Orthopedic Reconstruction and Trauma.
Explain what your interview process was like.
Interviewed over the phone, in-person a couple times, and a sales pitch. The process took about a month. Really enjoyed the interview process and developed a genuine relationship, and felt 100% confident this was the career choice for not only me but my company.
What from your training did you specifically use during the interview process that ultimately helped you land your position?
The Medical Device Industry in Orthopedics and how to have a conversation with professionals in the field. The knowledge and hands on experience paid off.
What is your current job like?
Starting off with the basics in training with very general biologic products then will move into surgical products Shoulder/knee/hip.
Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?
MSC really gave me the confidence, knowledge, and real life exposure of the medical device industry. I am extremely prepared during my training process of my job, thanks to Medical Sales College.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
All the instruments and surgical trays used for Orthopedics and the amount of knowledge/technique that is required to successfully be a expert in this field.
