Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?

Medical sales is an industry that is both challenging and rewarding. With constant advancements in medicine, there will always be something new to learn and share. Most importantly, you have the opportunity to be a part of a process that helps people.

How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?

I knew it was a competitive and difficult industry to get into so I didn't spend much time before applying to MSC.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Through a friend of a friend who had recently been placed.

What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?

I was ready for a career change and didn't want to spend months or years trying to break into the industry. I wanted to do as much as possible to shorten the time it took to find an opportunity.

Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.

I had the sales and business experience so the knowledge gained in anatomy, biology, common orthopedic procedures, and medical devices was key in landing a role in the industry.

Explain what your interview process was like.

It was a full two months from the time I applied until the time I signed a contract. It started with Personality Index assessments and a HireVue interview before two in-person interviews.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Being able to talk products and procedures at a competent level in interviews was invaluable.

Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?

Medical Sales College will give a foundation of knowledge to build on that will help you stand out from other applicants. After graduation, you'll be ready and confident in your interviews.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

The interview process can be long, difficult and thorough. Be patient and persistent while you find the right fit!
