Experienced Sales Manager in Chemical Distribution as well as an experienced Campaign Manager in Florida Politics. Former College Baseball athlete.

Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?

Some old teammates got into it and it excited me with what they did along with having two shoulder surgeries and getting to see how reps interact with their surgeons.

How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?

6 months.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Instagram and Facebook ads.

What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?

I couldn’t get interviews even with sales experience.

Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.

Online two month course that gave me a good understanding of the industry, products and how they are used as well as how to interact with surgeons.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

What surgeons and employers want out of a rep.

Please briefly explain your job interview process.

Hiring Manager viewed my video on the website and called me for a first interview. We met at Panera Bread for about an hour. From there I met with one of his best reps in the area to make sure he liked me and we got along, had a lot in common which led to him thinking I would be a great fit. From there, I had two phone interviews with the Director of Sales for Trauma and the Director of Sales for Ortho Recon. They were extensive phone interviews with lots of questions and scenarios. From there I was offered the job. Two month long process.

Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?

To get a good understanding of the industry and a good name behind you to land an interview.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I wish I had attended MSC earlier.
