I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and after graduation I moved to Nashville, TN to pursue a career in event planning. I did this for three years until the pandemic made me reevaluate my career choices. This is when I decided to attend MSC
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I wanted to make a positive impact on people's lives, and I wanted to go home every day proud of what I was doing.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
I attended the 8-week Orthobiologics online class and had a wonderful experience. My teacher, Andrea, was clearly knowledgeable about the subject and took the time to make sure we understood the material.
Describe your experience with Dynamic Consultative Sales training.
My last week of the course was held in person in Denver, CO. I understood it to be a more condensed version compared to the other courses, however, I still feel that we hit all of the important notes as well as had ample sales practice.
Describe your Career Development training experience.
Scott was amazing during the Career Development portion of our training. He was passionate and made you get excited about the next steps in procuring a job.
How did MSC add to your existing sales skills to prepare you for a career in medical devices where the products are clinical in nature?
Seeing as though I had zero existing sales skills attending MSC set me on the right track and gave me a firm sales foundation to get started in the industry.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
The interviewing slides that were provided by Scott helped me to constantly work on my interviewing skills which I believe eventually led to my hiring at Smith & Nephew.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
I was contacted by a sales manager with the Smith & Nephew team after viewing my profile. From there I spoke to various members of their team and then went on the have one in person interview in addition to one zoom interview held by the team leader and the district sales manager. The process in total took around 3 months.
