I graduated from Ole Miss with a major in Integrated Marketing Communications. Because I graduated during the pandemic, I was a little uncertain of what career path I wanted to head down. After a lot of research and connecting with other graduates, I decided to attend Medical Sales College.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
After graduating college, I knew I wanted to use my outgoing, driven personality and passion for helping others to plant my seed and help myself and a company grow. I spoke with a few family friends who were currently medical sales reps, and what they said about their career directly aligned with what I had envisioned for myself. The medical sales industry is one where I know I will flourish and be successful.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
After speaking with other graduates, they reassured me that MSC could be my foot in the door or my next step in breaking into the medical sales industry. I had no previous sales experience and needed something to supplement my lack of experience.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
The training at MSC took a lot of hard work but was extremely rewarding. It was ] fun, and I made so many close friends through my time there. It truly taught me that persistence is the key to persevering.
Describe your experience with Dynamic Consultative Sales training.
This training was extremely helpful when preparing for real-life situations as a rep. The instructors did a great job of role-playing with us and giving us tips on how to be successful.
Being a recent college graduate, how did MSC help you to prepare to enter the professional workforce?
MSC provided me with a foot in the door to connect with so many people. Without attending, I would be significantly behind in breaking in with no sales experience. I think it set me apart in my interviews.
What made you choose to invest in more education by attending MSC after just recently graduating college?
After hearing the testimonials of MSC graduates, I knew the investment was worth it.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
The most valuable thing I learned at MSC was the importance of always being prepared. You should always have a plan b, and c, and d, and e, etc. Also, learning how to read the room and adapting to different situations that may present themselves.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
Someone should attend MSC to gain valuable information and knowledge needed to break into the industry, especially with no previous sales experience.
