Tell me a little about your background?
I had a background of marine biology and biology. I did not know anyone in the industry and had no idea what I was going to learn.
Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?
I always wanted to be in the medical field and with medical sales I could be in the OR without having to spend 8 more years in school. I love meeting new people and making new connections. Medical sales gave me the opportunity to have the best of both worlds.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I was looking for a job online and how to get into the medical device industry and Medical Sales College was the first browser to pop up on my screen.
What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?
I knew that without the experience it would be very difficult to get my foot into the industry. I knew that going to MSC would give me the experience and knowledge to be in medical device sales without the 3 years of experience most company’s expect.
Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.
MSC taught me the anatomy, sales training and real world scenarios. Tilden could not have been a better instructor. He gave us the tools and knowledge to do well in the industry and was always there to lend a helping hand. Andrea gave a thorough training in biologics and was always around if we had questions. The other instructors, Tom and Scott, provided us with skills and techniques we will need everyday in this field and I am very pleased to have been accepted to MSC.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Please briefly explain your job interview process.
I had 2 interviews. 1 with my sales rep, and manager. The 2nd one was with the VP and the distributor president.
Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?
If you are truly wanting to get into medical device sales there is no better place to get your experience than MSC. MSC taught me the knowledge I need but also gave me confidence in myself. I would not have a job with Zimmer today if I didn’t go to MSC and learn about the industry.
