Tell me a little about your background?
I’m from Meridian, MS and graduated from Mississippi State University in May with a bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. After graduation I decided to go to medical sales college and chose the Spine class.
Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?
I’ve always been interested in the medical field but could not really figure out what I wanted to do. I chose medical sales because I love interacting with people and making relationships. I also love the fact that I get to travel and am never sitting still.
How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?
I hadn't tried yet. Most everyone I talked to told me I would need something to do with sales on my resume.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Through a friend that had attended the trauma program in Denver.
What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?
After talking to reps and multiple MSC alums I knew it would be the best place to start my career.
Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.
It was hard work but worth every bit of it. Learning from people that had been in the industry before was some of the most valuable learning I experienced the whole time.
Explain what your interview process was like.
Mine was really easy. I was contacted through LinkedIn and had one interview and was in training the next two weeks.
What is your current job like?
A lot of traveling, but I've really enjoyed it. I’ve met so many amazing people so far and am excited to really get started.
Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?
It really prepares you for the real deal. It’s a much smoother transition. I can’t imagine trying to go to work without the knowledge from MSC.
