Tell me a little about your background?

I received my bachelor’s degree in business management at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After graduation I became a marketing team member at an electric medical records company. I soon realized that this wasn’t my passion and took the leap to join MSC.

Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?

I became interested in medical sales after knowing several people already in the industry and watching how successful each of them became.

How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?

I tried to get into the industry upon graduating from college for about 5 months until deciding to attend MSC.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I learned about MSC through a close friend. She provided me with lots of information about the college and I saw how successful she was at her job.

What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?

I realized that I needed to invest in myself and my future.

Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.

While at MSC, my training experience was pretty rigorous. I had no prior knowledge of anything regarding biology or anatomy. They provided us with so much information and taught it to us in a way that anybody can learn it in 8 weeks and be successful.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The most valuable piece of information that I learned while attending MSC was the importance of building relationships.

Please briefly explain your job interview process.

I landed an interview a week after graduating with Hybrid Extremity. I had an hour long lunch interview with the partners, then two days later I was asked to shadow one of their reps. After shadowing, the partner called me for dinner that same night and offered me a contract.

Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?

Someone should attend MSC to become confident in medical sales. They provide a great foundation for you to start your future!

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I wish I would have known how powerful LinkedIn is. This is how my current employer found me and reached out to me.
