Tell me a little about your background?

I graduated from UTEP with a bachelor’s of Biological Sciences, I started playing sports at a very young age and later received a scholarship to play softball at the University of the Southwest. I have over 6 years of retail sales experience.

Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?

I was interested in medical sales because I pride myself in attracting people with my strong personality and social skills. I love to connect and build relationships with potential customers while consulting them with strong product knowledge.

How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?

Before attending MSC I tried for at least 4 months to get into the industry.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I learned about MSC from

What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?

The placement rate percentage and reviews of the college were all very impressive and positive. So after doing extensive research on the college just learning about prior student testimonials sealed the deal for me to apply and then later attend.

Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.

It was an amazing experience. The hands-on learning, the knowledgeable instructors, and the interview prep gave me extensive knowledge and an edge of what to learn and expect from the industry. I could not have gotten a job without MSC and I owe everything to all who helped me at the college.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The product knowledge. Part of my interview process was product knowledge and answering questions with the hiring manager of how the products worked. Without MSC I would have been completely lost. But thanks to MSC I had great product knowledge, medical terminology vocabulary and bone anatomy that left the managers very impressed with me and eventually helped me get the position.

Please briefly explain your job interview process.

The first interview was with the Territory Manager that wanted to get to know me first and my background, he had me explain MSC and why I chose to invest in it. The second interview was with the Territory Manager and the Regional Sales Manager. And prior to that interview I had to study the product they assigned me in which we would discuss during the interview. The second interview was more of a product conversation and how well I knew and read the information such as the surgical techniques, and product material and sizes.

Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?

I would highly recommend MSC to anyone wishing to get into this industry. Because this industry is so competitive to get into, MSC gives you that edge that may make you stand above other candidates. MSC prepares you for the day-to-day of the industry and gets you comfortable with being uncomfortable. I learned so much in 8-weeks with the college that I feel will help me so much in the field.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

Before attending MSC I wish I had known the importance of utilizing Linked In and connecting with anyone in the industry so that you can get yourself better familiarized.
