Steve graduated from Georgetown College with a BA in Communications with additional study in Political Science and English. After graduation, he launched what has become a 24-year career in sales, the last 19 of which were with Smith & Nephew Orthopedic. Starting as an Associate Sales Representative, Steve was granted a series of promotions over the years to Full-Line Sales Representative, Senior Sales Representative and Reconstruction Specialist. From 2011 to 2020, he served as a Regional Director of Sales for Ohio and Kentucky. Steve’s teams have been recognized by The Presidents Club, Ortho Elite, Quota Busters and The Above and Beyond Award. In 2014 Steve’s Lexington, KY sales team won the Advanced Surgical Device Team of the Year Award which is the highest sales honor given at Smith & Nephew. Steve was also awarded Sales Elite status in 2017.
These experiences have led to a diverse skill set that includes Strategic Planning and Execution, Sales Operations Management, Logistics, Administration, Budgeting, Talent Recruitment, Coaching and Mentoring, M&A Integration and C-Level Contract Management. Steve is excited to join the team at Medical Sales College and enjoys the opportunity to give back what he has learned over the years about becoming a Best In Class Orthopedic Sales Representative. When he is not traveling and working he enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid soccer fan and volunteer coach.
