Kristen has 18 years of experience in orthopaedics and comes to Medical Sales College with
over 12 years in medical device sales and leadership. She began her sales career in 2008 as
an Assistant Account Manager in durable medical equipment where she sold off-the-shelf
splints and braces, CPM machines, and cold therapy units. After two successful years, she
transitioned to orthobiologics.
In 2010, Kristen joined an orthobiologics distributorship based in the central and western United
States. She was the primary Surgical Consultant supporting first cases and hospital in-services.
In 2011, she was promoted to Director of Clinical Services. Her key role was on-boarding and
educating new clinical service employees. She continued to support first cases, hosted a bi-
monthly journal club, and was responsible for real time troubleshooting and coaching. Her
orthobiologics experience primarily focused on autologous bone marrow concentrate, platelet
rich plasma, and synthetic bone graft.
Following an acquisition in 2016, Kristen pivoted to a role in medical education as a Clinical
Application Specialist Manager for a multi-million-dollar pure-play orthobiologics company. This
company offers autologous cell and platelet therapies, allograft, and synthetic bone graft options
both domestically and internationally.
In 2017, Kristen was promoted to National Accounts Manager, where she worked closely with
the legal and sales teams on local, multistate, and national contracts. She completed many
proposals and significantly increased company revenue after securing two large national
contracts in her first six months in the position. Kristen is skilled at providing clinical and
scientific value to hospitals which often helped to shorten the value analysis process thereby
leading to faster product approvals. Kristen’s secondary role was comprehensive onboarding
and training of new employees and distributor partners, including international partners across
Canada, Europe, and South America. She also continued to support the sales team with case
coverage, hospital in-services, and she remained the primary contact for the company’s hospital
credentialing program.
Kristen is passionate about education. She was recruited to Medical Sales College in 2020 as
an addition to their growing Orthobiologics & Regenerative Medicine team. She brings with her
vast industry knowledge and expertise in orthobiologics.
