Tell me a little about your background?
I got my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and continued my education by obtaining a master’s degree in Biomechanics. While in school, I originally wanted to go the PT route, but after shadowing for many hours I realized it wasn’t for me. I grew up playing sports and continued in college competing in triathlons and I completed an Ironman after my senior year.
Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?
I wanted to be a part of something where I could make an impact, and I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field. It was the perfect fit for me. The industry is fast paced, competitive, and every day is different. You get to make a difference and make lasting relationships with those around you. You must be on your toes ready to go, and I really like that about this industry.

I tried for 7 months. I kept getting the response that I did not have the sales experience. While I have the science background for the job, it wasn’t enough to break into the industry.
