Tell me a little about your background?

College basketball player graduated with a Healthcare Administration degree, then attended Medical Sales College.

Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?

I had already been introduced to the industry and was pointed this direction from some people in the industry to gain the knowledge that would help me to be most effective in the industry.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

Yes, I was fearful because I am young and didn’t really know what I was getting myself into as far as where other students knowledge or experience was.

Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.

My experience was great and I felt like I was able to learn a lot in a short amount of time. I was happy I invested into this program.

What from your training did you specifically use during the interview process that ultimately helped you land your position?

The ability to read and understand case studies, as well as how they are used in comparing one technology to others.

What is your current job like?

I really enjoy my current job. I took a position as a product manager for a small spine company that is growing very quickly. I am a clinical specialist and over see the thoracic lumbar as a product manager. In this role I am able to work with engineers, design teams, hospitals, and get lots of time in the OR.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

I use product terminology and OR protocol the most in my job. Knowing what I am reading and what everything means in terms of case reports, x-rays, and communication with surgeons has been a huge help.

Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?

You should attend this because it gives you the essential knowledge and tips/tricks in the industry you wouldn’t have otherwise.
