Tell me a little about your background?

My Name is Andrew Fonte. I have a diverse background in Sports, Insurance, and Medical Device Sales. I am enthusiastic about the industry of medical devices and selling due to the fast pace and relationship building requirements.

Why were you interested in Medical Sales? What drew you to this industry?

I was interested in Medical Sales College because of the knowledge and doors it would open for me. I saw the value in Medical Sales College and believe it will be the way of the future. I am drawn to the Medical Device Industry because I knew that if I was able to get in I would be able to see and experience things on a day to day basis that some people will never have for their entire life.

How long did you try to get into the industry? What was that experience like?

I worked for two years to get into this industry. My experience was very challenging. I had three different sales jobs trying to build my numbers. I moved 14 times between three different states to find work and to live where I could afford. I would not change my experience for anything, but I am glad that Medical Sales College has helped me get to where I am at today.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

Yes, it was a risk investing the money I had into a school however, I saw the value in it and with risk comes reward.

What ultimately made you decide to attend the College?

It was time for me to make a decision either to go all in on what I wanted to accomplish or consider a different route. I believe in what Medical Sales College does and decided the risk was worth it. I am very glad that I did!

Describe your experience once you began training with Medical Sales College.

My experience, at the beginning, was intense with a lot of information. The intensity made me trust the process and I would not change it.

Explain what your interview process was like.

It lasted about two months. I was told that I was the most knowledgeable, confident, and well-prepared candidate that they interviewed. I thank Medical Sales College for that.

What from your training did you specifically use during the interview process that ultimately helped you land your position?

The language, and the knowledge of the OR room and people in the hospital. Also, I showed my profiling abilities and the interviewer was very impressed.

What is your current job like?

I have not started yet, but always willing to let you know.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

I think the language and the amount of experience my instructor brought to the table helped me get where I am today.

Why should someone attend the Medical Sales College if they want this career?

You can’t do a job well that you know nothing about. Medical Sales College will prepare you to do your job at a high level.
