During his 30 years of experience in the medical device arena, Tilden has developed expertise with in-field sales, sales management, marketing and training. He has held the position of Medical Sales Representative representing the product lines of Zimmer, Medacta, SpineVision and Bacterin. Additionally, he held a distributorship’s Sales Management position for Zimmer and became a Product Manager with Smith & Nephew’s Wound Care division. Tilden served as Vice President of Marketing for the MINSURG corporation, as well as Vice President of Sales for MEDCERE, an electronic medical records company.
During his tenure, Tilden enjoyed time as a visiting Sales Trainer for Zimmer corporate sales training classes and was asked to participate as a faculty member, when they debuted their Zimmer University at one of their National Sales Meetings. Subsequently, he was chosen to be a Zimmer Train-the-Trainer to educate his distributorship’s sales representatives on new products being introduced to the field.
Currently, Tilden owns a medical sales device distributorship in the state of Florida.
Tilden received his Masters degree from the Education Department at Florida State University in 1980.
